Pay Disparity and Sexual Harassment Filed Against Cedar Realty CEO Schanzer
For the charges of sexual harassment and discrimination about the pay, former Chief Operating Officer Nancy H Mozzachio filed a case against the company’s Bruce Schanzer who happens to be the Realty Cedar’s current CEO. The decision whether of these charges is in the hands of a judge in Brooklyn.

Nancy also claims that CEO Schanzer he has made some unfit commentary about her breasts and maliciously calling her “babe”. CEO Schanzer is also being accused of making an imprudent comment about bringing some Double Ds to work while Nancy was drinking a cup of coffee from Dunkin Donuts. He also gives tight hugs to the Ex-COO Nancy Mozzachio which seemed to be improper rather than professional.
After the charges of pay disparity and sexual harassment was filed in court, the company has made a crucial decision to remove Nancy as Chief Operating Officer. She was terminated from her position after the meeting was canceled.
During 2015, Cedar Realty the company itself started on digging up some information regarding the lawsuit when they heard that an external investigator has also decided to do some digging. However, Nancy stated the accusations of the female employees who were experienced the same harassment as well were never looked into by the investigators. There was even one employee that reportedly went to Wall Street Journal to share her experience about Schanzer asking about the color of her underwear. Most of the people who claimed to be sexually harassed by the CEO has been paid a large amount of money for their silence, to prevent these stories from reaching to the investigators.
The former Chief Operating Officer is popular for her booming career in Cedar Realty. Starting her early years in the company last 2003 and 2004 as the Director for Leasing and Vice President for Leasing up until she has been promoted as Chief Operating Officer in the year 2004. Based on the allegations she has made about pay disparity, she is only receiving a small bonus incentive and a lower salary as Chief Operating Officer rather than the Chief Financial Officer and she expressed how unfair that is on her part knowing she should have the bigger pay. Cedar Realty has made a firm stand about how they plead no guilty and that through meticulous probing by the board, the result of the investigations were deemed has made the decision not to proceed with the lawsuit.
